Sea Kayaking

Departing Homer, Alaska with a 15-minute water taxi cruise visiting Gull Island, home to 10,000 nesting seabirds, including puffins, cormorants, and kittiwakes. Then, cruise to a nearby beach where you’ll gear up, receive instructions, and begin sea kayaking along the stunning coastline.
Sea otters and seals are common sightings, and you might also encounter porpoises, sea lions, or even whales. Paddle past the charming artist hamlet of Halibut Cove, surrounded by the beauty of Kachemak Bay State Park.

No Experience Necessary!
First-time paddlers will love our double kayaks, which are stable, safe, roomy, and a blast to paddle—perfect for beginners!


Grewingk Glacier Lake Hike (Self-Guided)

Grewingk Glacier Lake Hike begins after kayaking returning to Homer, Alaska at 6pm, those opting out of the hike will return to Homer, Alaska at 3pm. After kayaking, embark on a 3-mile round-trip hike starting at the Saddle Trailhead. The hike begins with moderate switchbacks leading to the top of the saddle, followed by an easy descent onto the level glacial moraine. At the end, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of a glacier lake filled with icebergs at the foot of Grewingk Glacier, surrounded by towering mountain peaks.
The return hike offers stunning vistas of Halibut Cove and Kachemak Bay.
